KGF 2, one of the biggest Pan India films in India, has recently hit the screens.  All in all, the film set new records at the box office and raised the bar of Kannada cinema at once.  It should also be mentioned that the value of South movies has also increased exponentially.  There are also a lot of stories coming out about when this Biggest Action Movie is coming to OTT.  However, it seems that KGF Chapter 2 will be released earlier than expected.  Going into those details ..

Huge profits

Needless to say, the first part of KGF2, directed by Prashant Neil, was a huge success.  The second chapter, which is a sequel to the story, is also creating wonders by receiving box office collections beyond that.  Already the film has brought huge profits to the producers with collections of Rs 700 crore.

The newest record

It has to be said that the success of KGF Chapter 2 has given a boost to more big movies to come.  In a way KGF2 is also privileged to break RRR records on a massive scale.  Already in Hindi, the film is poised to receive more collections than RRR.  KGF2 also set a record as the first South film to gross Rs 250 crore at the fastest pace.

Slightly divide talk

KGF Chapter 2 impressed the mass audience throughout the film.  But there was also some negative talk from a section of the audience.  There were also comments that the director had given unnecessary elevations and lowered expectations as there was not as much emotional scene in the first part of the film.

This weekend too

But despite the talk the action scenes with the hero Yash star status turned out to be an amazing workout.  The film is set to make a huge splash in almost all languages.  It seems that the collections dose is likely to increase further this weekend as well.

OTT release?

There are also various articles on when KGF Chapter 2 will be released in OTT.  Originally a pre-arranged deal was set to be released fifty days after its theatrical release on Amazon Prime.

One week ago ..

Now it seems that KGF Chapter 2 is finally going to release the finale earlier than expected as the movie was released on 14th April.  It is now rumored to be released on May 27 in OTT.  That means the producers seem to have given the green signal to release on OTT a week earlier as per the pre-arranged deal.  And if you want to know how true this is, you have to wait until the official clarity comes from the film unit.
