Hello friends, Welcome back to a colorful blog I hope you must have understood what about my blog to be Holi what we know about this festival is that it is a festival of colors, joy not only just that it is also known as the festival of spring accept that it also celebrated as a symbol of good over evil it is also marked as a beginning of spring season it is a festive day to meet others, play with colors and having sweets it starts from the day of Purnima (Full Moon Day) is also marked the spring of good harvest season and the evening before Holi is known Holika Dahan also known as Choti Holi which also marks the beginning of the celebration if we talk about the ritual behind Holika Dahan in this .process people gather around a bonfire to perform religious rituals and pray to god the evil inside them destroy like Holika the next day marks the celebration of colorful Holi in which people smear each other with colors, water guns and also play a significant role in the celebration the magic of this festival breaks all the barriers of rich- poor, man woman and children other than that despite having a Hindu festival it has now got a status of a secular festival . In India, this festival is like a grand festival that glorifies all the hues that give the earth a new life and it also marks a time when the refreshing breeze is flowing from this air also mark the beginning of the summer season this period also marks a seasonal translation there is a belief that the colors used in celebration catch on the mood outside it remind us that the time is perfect and it also symbolized the energy in this last part of the blog I would like to present ritual angle there was a demon lived Hirayakashipu who wanted to take revenge of his brother’s death who was killed by Lord Vishnu to take revenge of brother’s death he performs several prayers in front of Vishnu. So the king wanted to kill his son when Prahalad had no option he ask for help from his sister Holika who was immune from fire after a boon a fire was burning with the intention of killing Prahalad because of a devotee to Lord Vishnu he remain unharmed and Holika the demon burn to ashes
