Hi everyone, as we have covered many topics related to motivation and self improvement. Today we are going to talk about something different. Do you ever think of some work you do again and again . As you answer doing again and again something is too bore. But if I tell that it is important towards your goals then your thinking might change and this repetition of practice is known as deliberate practice. If we see the meaning of that word then it is Practice is the act of rehearsing a behaviour over and over, or engaging in an activity again and again, for the purpose of improving or mastering it, as in the phrase. 'practice makes perfect'. You all heared somwhere but it is as true as called. If we see deliberate practice deeply then we understand its true meaning in short practice we do again and again for mastery that thing. For example if you are a pro golfer you practice a same shot 400 times with that focus then you are in deliberate practice. But the thing to understand is that you have to do that again and again also with full focus and concentration if not then it is of no use. But if you are getting bored than you don't love that work enough but as i told in my previous blog sacrifice is must thing in achieving goal. As deliberate practice comes from many years of trainning to build it. Now you will ask how deliberate practice is important towards success?
All know that to become better in any feild it may be sports, study, or anything you need to do practice for it and it is necessary as in football you train for fitnees in football Matches that is how you have to practice but the difference is your ethics. Deliberate practice is important for mastery. While regular practice might include mindless repetitions, deliberate practice requires focused attention and is conducted with the specific goal of improving performance. It comes first as being successful you need focus and do deliberate practice if you need to be extraordinary in that field and also to get succed in life. One example of deliberate practice is of a famous chess player Magnus Carlsen who had played blind folded speed chess with 10 people and you will be shock after listening that he is a genius. No he is not a genius its all about his practice and this practice is known as “deliberate practice” he has given so much time in that feild that now he is called as a genius. Its due to his practice and analysis of the game and understand its map. As our topic was how it is important towards success? See that when you are in the feild where you have reached a level and when you are in pressure than the deliberate practice work starts and all your hard works seems there. One more and famous example is Sachin Tendulkar he has done so much practice of cricket that he knows the ball at the start and select a perfect shot for it now you understand its importance. And our next topic is how to include deliberate practice in our life?
Adding deliberate practice in our life is not as hard as you think and also not easy its up to your thinking. If you have to add deliberate practice in your life than first add a hardworking attitude in mind and be honest towards your goal. As if you have a goal and the practice you give to it should be dilberately. Mindless repitation is not a deliberate practice because doing something again and again without trying to improve with every repitetion. With fully focus and your dedication. Deliberate practice is not seen from one day it is the mixture of result, planning and long term hardwork. Like for making a big wall you have to place every brick one by one. In Deliberate pracrice every skill is planned and done with full focused deliberate practice is not relaxing it makes us tired from physical and mental state that's why people can't do it more than 3- 2 hour. Always keep yourself challenging and getting out from comfort zone but it is the time given for becoming best in any feild. Deliberate practice is not easy That's why ordinary people can't do this it takes out us from our comfort zone and make too much tired. One example of Kobe Bryant that no other player take olympic seriously but kobe practice at 4.00 am and join team session at 11.00 am. Its not like you don't have to take rest but always try to break your comfort zone.
“There is one difference in ordinary and extra ordinary that is practice”.
