Heelllleeewwwww you amazing people!
I hope you are doing good and following all the protocols advised because we are still not completely over the coronavirus. (Well, I know nobody asked but FYI I am doing really good and my internship is going amazing!)
Many people like you and I always talk about one should look closely about what company you have with yourself. We always say that surround yourself with positive and motivational people; and always stay away from negative people and people who leave you emotionally drained. I felt the same way too.
Recently, I realised that we are so very much concerned about the vibes we surround ourself with but do not care a bit about the vibes coming from someone with whom we spend our maximum time with; OURSELF! We are least concerned about the kind of things our mind thinks or talks about to us. In our entire course of life, we spend the maximum amount of time with ourself. Subconsciously the kind of thoughts that our mind has and the things that it talks to us about, affects our mental as well as physical health. Slowly but surely, it starts affecting our behaviour too.
βWe become what we thinkβ
This thought is the ultimate truth! Our thoughts eventually have a huge impact on our mental health and ultimately on our actions. The kind of thoughts that you have, and the well-being of your mind, determines the kind of vibes you emit. When you have a healthy and happy mind and good thoughts, everyone around you experience positive vibes emitting from you.
We need to make our mind healthy and happy so as to be in a good place mentally. We have to start learning the art of enjoying our own company; and in order to do so, our thoughts must be pure! You are so much more that just a body. You are a full package! We can entertain ourself, learn so much from our mind, and be in a happy place without always having someone beside.
Not always we are going to have company; neither should we.
Spending quality time with yourself should be everybody's topmost priority! And in order to love your own company, we must try and cultivate some of the habits that are extremely beneficial for our mind; like:
These are just some things that I do to keep myself and my thoughts, pure.
I hope you found all of babbling helpful and worth your time!
Take care of yourself, your mind and try spending some time alone! I bet you it will be satisfying (and addicting too;))
