The college years are a time of growth, new experiences, and life preparation. Enjoy them while you can since they will pass so quickly as well. Utilize them to their full potential by using these college success strategies.

.Take a Seat Near the Front: Instructors value pupils who appear to be paying attention in class. Take a seat at the front to demonstrate to them that you mean business.

.Look Amicable: Among the faces in the room, which ones would catch your attention if you were standing there? The ones that are grinning! Take note of your facial expressions in class, and make an effort to appear engaged and positive.

.Actively Engage: Make insightful inquiries, take part in conversations, appear enthusiastic about events, and convey through your body language that you are there to learn and develop.

.Visit Office Hours: If you want to do well in a class, office hours can make all the difference. Whether someone shows up or not, your professor will still be seated. They will be very grateful to have a conversation partner! Attend as often as you like, but don't wait to drop by until you're overwhelmed by the amount of work or confused about it.

.Give Yourself Enough Time: Avoid leaving tasks and test preparation for the last minute. Without a plan, work will backlog, and cramming causes stress that is bad for everyone.

.Be Creative: It can be alluring to swap answers with a classmate or duplicate assignments. Recall that learning occurs when someone is working. Take as much knowledge with you when you leave college.

.Give it your all and try your hardest. Since you can't be flawless, accept that you are only human. But know that you gave it your all and walk away at the end of the day.

.Invest in used books; they are significantly less expensive. And that's not all at all! You can sell things you no longer need to someone else in need and purchase gently used furniture for your dorm room.

.Seek Assistance - Do not hesitate to request assistance when necessary. If that means making an appointment with a school counselor, talking to friends and family about how you're feeling, attending office hours, or contacting other students to start a study group. Your mental health is more important than anything at school so never fear seeking out extra support.

.Be Open-Minded: It's inevitable that you'll arrive at college with preconceived conceptions about life, but try to keep an open mind to new ideas, possibilities, and occasionally even the possibility of changing your beliefs. We are challenged and able to grow by new experiences.
