The “Tribal Darkness Protections” Was started in 1996 to ensure the safety of the dark ethnic Population. With the support of human right activists such as professor Prabha Kalvimani, the association has Sattled more than a thousand cases of victims.
The dark minority people are still unable to get tribal ethnic certificate, records of right, are being treated unequally by other communities, they also victims of false cases logged by the police, and suffer many tribulations and oppression.
Through 30 Years of unremitting legal struggle as a lawyer, Chandru reclaimed the rights of many thousands of workers. Chandru has filed several lawsuits against laws such as Misa, Tada and Pota.
Chandru did not charged a single rupee for any human rights cases he fought for. He took charge as a Chennai high court judge and settled 96 thousand cases in a short period of 6 years and 7 month. He handed down many historically significant judgments such as Panchami Land's Reserved for oppressed people and would bot be allotted to anyone else, women can be priests in the temple, It is illegal to allocate separate section for the oppressed in the crematorium; It was the writings and speeches of Dr. Ambedkar That greatly helped me to understand the nature of the cases.
