Its been around five to seven billion years since humans marked their existence on earth… and since day- one we have been adapting and evolving all the way through… As humans evolve, their thoughts did too, so didtheir interpretation of a home.. for me home is not a place where you grew up or maybe a place where you have lived.. Some people travel around the world to find their home , something that they call their own, something or somewhere they think marks their existence , but whereas I found it in a person , or maybe people, whom I proudly call my own; I found it in the little moments that made me happy, with the people that made me happy.
I found home in the person who had the courage to stand up for me when nobody else did..in the person I shared my deepest darkest secret with ( who till now has kept the promise of keeping it a secret, thankfully ;) ). I found it in the people I shared my lunch with in class during lunch hours, or in most case the people who shared their lunch with me. I found it in the person with whom I watched the sunset with one fine evening, the person who taught me how to live my life to the fullest. I found it in the person who couldn't leave my side for even a minute when I was sick , my mom. I found it in the people who cared enough to have the patience to listen to my random rants from time to time telling them how messed up everything is starting from my life, future, studies and everything in between.
People who you met at the strangest of times and still called you in and gave you the warmth of how a true home feels like….. I found home in the simplest of things when I realized they were worth more to me and that I wouldn't trade any of these things for anything else in the world if ever I got a chance to
Each person I ever met have an ache in their heart to find their home where they are not questioned about what they do or who they are, a place or people with whom they can be their true self.. It might not be constant for some people… maybe one fine day you will leave your home, the place where you stayed and the people who you once called home, to move to a better place, travel cities and countries to pursue grander ambitions and find better homes in people you meet then.. but in the end you will always turn and come back to where you once truly belonged - your TRUE NORTH, your Home….
