We as human beings, need to be entertained so we prefer to watch movies, listening to songs, and many of us like to play video games. I was also a gamer and can be said that a game addict, but I had overcome my addiction and now it's all fine. Today I am going to talk about, history of video games. I hope you'll like to know about the world's first video game.

The world's first video game was “Tennis for Two”.

Yes, the world's first game was tennis, as you see in the above image. This game was released on 18th October 1958. This was just a simple game in which a ball is bouncing left to right which was controlled by a player but after a year, this video game got flopped because of two reasons. First, the price of this game was too costly, and the game is simple and boring which doesn't give that type of entertainment to the audiences.

Then, after that various companies started making different types of games just to run their gaming business but many games got made and many got failed.

A person who changed the gaming industry.

This person named was Ralph H.Bear, he was a German-American inventor. He was also known as the father of video games because he had invented the gaming console. He thought that the television price is affordable, so he thought to make a machine that can connect to T.V to enjoy games on Television. After that, this console got famous, and this gaming business got in profit and companies started making games for console and here this person got succeeded.

And the first console game invented by him was “pong”. This game also has the little concept of tennis but, people had enjoyed this game well.

Then, the other games for the console got invented like Pac-Man, original GTA, and consoles got updated to PlayStation 1, 2, 3, 4, and now 5, and then made many games of high graphics and about various concepts. Like that these gaming industries had made millions of dollars as their earning and still, they are earning and in high demand and people have chosen gaming as a career option and they too made a lot of earning.
