Hello fellows
So, in this blog, Imma talk about chopsticks.
Firstly, how have I gotten familiar with this? It's quite strange but yes. After I started to reside alone in russia, I have gotten customary with many news things. And one such thing is using chopsticks. I used to brush a few videos about how to use it and I started to use it for everything. I felt more comfortable.
As I inhabit Russia, I have seen Russians using chopsticks, particularly for sushi. Until now, I have never encountered any Indians using chopsticks [ it doesn't mean I am saying that Indians never use them]. Of course, Indians do use but I have never seen them in real life yet [ when I visit India].
Of course, my mother would always gimme a grimace of hate, lol. every time I say to her like [ mama, you dont know the things behind chopsticks: ]
Meanwhile, my meimei [ younger sister ] always asks me like [ Akka, how did you learn to use? its too difficult for me to even hold those sticks ]
I typically reply to her like only intelligent people can do this. We burst out into laughter. This is just for a fun, I was never mean to her.
I found an interesting thing while using a chopstick which is portioning food.
When it comes to food, it is like rocket science, hehe I can't control myself. I am very persnickety about my food. After utilizing chop strips, I controlled my food portioning and feel plateful after every serving.
I remember something …..once I encountered someone saying that according to Ayurved, it's recommended to chew foods at least 24-30 times for each bite of food. Usually, people [ including me ] used to eat a spoon of food, just grind it about 4-5 times and just swallow it. This frequently leads to digestive issues like aspiration, malnutrition, and choking. Here comes my pointers:
However, I found a way to meal portion control which is having a glass of water before each meal. It fills a quarter of your appetite. As a result, you would eat half of your meal.
Hell yeahhhhh, I am not going on against your love for food whether it's a regular or favorite one].
Like other juveniles, I try to go on a diet. Lol, I have cheat days though…like a day in a week. In the beginning, my mindset would seem unceasingly intense. After a week, I become sluggish and almost give up.
Whoops, just realized that I almost let slip about chopsticks…
Now, I will acquaint few steps in an image format to easily learn using chopstics[ for those who are interested]
As per my knowledge, I think there are 4 Asian countires[ CHINA, VIETNAM, JAPAN, KOREA] employing chopsticks daily.
Recently, I have also come across a journal saying ‘Japanese experimenters formulated ELECTRIC CHOPSTICKS to risen the salty flavor..’
Okay, my worldwide neighbors. hope to see you in my next letter. see ya………
