WHAT IS JEERA WATER?
   Jeera water, also known as Cumin
water or Cumin Tea is a traditional
Indian drink made with the spice
called Cumin(jeera).

Jeera is something we usually find In our Kitchen spice rack and this has the enormous health benefits when its added in water. Jeera is safer even in kids.

It has many positive effects on our health. They are,

It reduces the acid reflux or acidity in your stomach, making you less likely to feel bloated or gastric after a meal. It helps cure diarrhea, it can be taken after heavy meals so that it enhance digestion.

●Helps in Weight Loss: Jeera water helps in burning the calories more efficiently which can help us to maintain a healthy weight. It burns unnecessary fats deposited in our body. The very first think you will notice after taking jeera water is that the chubby cheeks of yours will start to vanish slowly. 

● Healthy Hair and Skin: The antioxidants in the Jeera water will give the body a protective shield from all infections and help body to eliminate toxics and waste. That gives the skin a natural glow.

●Relieves menstrual cramps: It has some anti inflammatory properties that relax your uterine muscles and reduce period cramps and pain.

●Protects your Liver: The liver is an important organ in the human body. And it is important to keep it healthy. Jeera water prevents the liver from any kind of inflammation.

●Rich in minerals: Jeera water is full of minerals, such as iron, copper, potassium and magnesium. All of these minerals are responsible for carrying out important tasks.

How to make Jeera water? 

     As per my mother’s instructions I take 2 tablespoons of Cumin seeds and fennel seeds and add it to a hot empty pan (Fennel seeds here is optional you can use cumin seeds alone).Once the seeds start to pop, pour 1 glass of water and let it be in simmer for 10 minutes. Once the essence of the Jeera is mixed in the water, the colour of the water turns beautiful yellow orange. This should be taken on empty stomach in the morning for quicker results. 

Conclusion:

  Jeera water is a beneficial drink with vital nutrients and various health benefits. It should be consumed moderately for good results. 1 -2 glasses are recommended in a day. Excessive consumption may lead to digestive issues or interact with medications. To Reap The Benefit of this healthy drink always think less is more. A healthy lifestyle is all about moderation and living in harmony.
