I had one week for my southzone match. It was quiet rushing time for me as I had to leave solapur and travel to Hyderabad for my match .After reaching hyderabad their were many things to do prior the match. As it was my first time to represent “Maharashtra ”  as “Riffle Shooter”. This was one of the long match which was running up for next 2 weeks , hence I missed my school exams , practicals and many more things . The day before the match and the day of the match are very important for every sportsperson . Everything here matters on attitude , How you represent yourself as well as your state . 

The thing I realised there was everyone here are the champions , but my coach explained me the indepth  meaning of champion . “ To be a champion you have to belive yourself when no one else will.” This line left a spark in my mind which will never make my self confidence low. I was little nervous that night thinking about my future and the match ahead . As every day is a new beginning .Take a deep breath, smile and start again, yes I to did the same as it was my match day . The young lady with papers in her hand entered into the room telling me my schedule for the match .

Sharp at 3:00 noon I had my match for next 60 mins . Those 60 mins while playing the match  I just thought about “ I can do it ” and “ I am the winner."  My this confidence increased my score and finally it was time to gun down . After the match my coach suddenly came close to me telling that “ Dont worry dear! your hardwork and patience  will surely pay you back". After a week we had the result day before entering hall I just asked myself “Did I  gave my 100 percent”? the answer was “Yes”!!. Everyone were egarly waiting for their name to announce . 

Without creating much suspense the guest of the day started announcing the names of the shooters who were on 2nd and 3rd rank for pistol shooting and now it was my turn as they said “ So the runerup in10m riffle shooting is ” this made my heart beat more faster and it was one of my new mate “Miss  Rabiya Iyer". Now it was turn for the winner in 10m air riffle , a lot of suspense was created here but  finally my hardwork was fruitful there..! 

My coach had a reward smile on his face seeing me on the stage .
