What childhood looks like? Why it is so much glorified? Ok, I know, I know, that it is the BEST time of our life but still, I feel it is overrated. 

Reason?

One thing, people say childhood is the best time, but here comes a twist. It is the best time but NOT FOR ALL. Some people live their best time in college, or maybe during their internship period or maybe in the mid-age. Some also believe that their best time is their old age, the tension-free time. And I too believe that the exciting part of our life can be any part or maybe all of the part. Cause every part has something to teach us. 

Ok, now, I will tell you about my childhood experience. When I was a child, everything was new, but for me, and everything was the same for the people around me. The exciting thing that existed in my childhood, is my excitement. Yes, I was having this excitement for anything and everything. 

What excites me? Playing games. Skipping school. Irritating my sibling for no reason. Wearing a new dress. Celebrating festivals with friends and families. But, the school never excited me. I never like my school nor do I cherished those days. Simply because everything was thrilling except the school. I just don't find them exhilarating. Also, I don't hate my school memories, I just don't love them. 

Yet, I find my childhood perfect. Reason? It has taught me valuable lessons. It has given me some very precious and hilarious moments. My pre-teens contain a lot of cherished moments.

The only thing I want to tell is, there is a difference between a school memory and a whole childhood memory. For having a great childhood memory, you don't have to glorify the school times. Whenever I ask someone about their favorite part about childhood they say school. Okay, then your favorite part is only the school part and not the whole childhood. 

For me, my childhood was awesome but excluding the school part. And the title? I have given it to people who mixed both things. They say they love their childhood memories but I believe they only loved the school part.
