INDIAN ARMED FORCE (IAF)
The Indian Armed Forces (IAF) is the unified military force of India. It consists of the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and Indian Navy. The IAF is the fourth largest air force in the world by total number of aircraft. The IAF also has the fourth largest personnel contingent in the world. The Indian Army is the largest army in the world in terms of manpower.

The Indian Army is the land-based armed forces of the Republic of India. The President of India is the Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army. The Indian Army is the world's largest standing army, with 1,183,126 active personnel on duty, as of 2016. With over a century of experience, the Indian Army has played a major role in India's foreign policy and defence strategy. Indian Army consisting of 1.3 Million population, 2,527,000 Paramilitary forces, 1,450,000 Active personnel and 1,115,000 Reserve personnel. The Indian military have been occupied with various significant military tasks, including: the Indo-Pakistani conflicts of 1947, 1965 and 1971, the Portuguese-Indian War, the Sino-Indian War, the 1967 Chola occurrence, the 1987 Sino-Indian encounter, the Kargil War, and the Siachen struggle among others. The Indian military are consistently going through modernisation with investments in regions like advanced missile defence system and always through futuristic methods.
INDIAN AIR FORCE
The Indian Air Force (IAF) is the aerial warfare branch of the Indian Army. The IAF has been operational since 8 October in the year of 1932 and played a major role in both the World War II and the Cold War. The IAF is the fourth-largest air force in the world and the largest air force in terms of personnel. The IAF operates a fleet of more than 1,600 aircraft. IAF is the sky arm of the Indian armed force. The main objective of Indian air force is to secure the Indian airspace during the conflict of war and to avoid other nation exploitation to safeguard for us. After the year of 1947 India independence, the British Empire honoured with the prefix name of ROYAL INDIAN AIR FORCE. Then the year 1950, the India after the Republic. The prefix Royal was removed. Since 1950, the IAF has been associated with four conflicts with Pakistan. Other significant activities undertaken by the IAF incorporate with Operation Vijay, Operation Meghdoot, Operation Cactus and Operation Poomalai. The IAF mission expands beyond Pakistan engagement with unfriendly powers, with the IAF taking part in United Nations peacekeeping missions. The essential target of the naval force is to defend the country's sea borders, and related to other Armed Forces of the association, act to overcome any dangers or threads against the territorial region, individuals or sea interests of India, both in war and harmony. Through joint activities like goodwill visits and humanitarian missions, Indian Navy involves to secure disaster relief and to promote multiple relation between our country. The operational fleet strength consists of 1 active aircraft carrier and 1 amphibious transport dock, 8 landing ship tanks, 10 destroyers, 13 frigates, 1 ballistic missile submarine, 16 conventionally-powered. attack submarines, 24 corvettes, one mine countermeasure vessel, 4 fleet tankers and numerous other auxiliary vessels, small patrol boats and sophisticated ships.
