On September 30, Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan is scheduled for a major theatrical release; the movie won't be shown in theatres for another week. As a result of the intense anticipation, the movie is predicted to have a massive opening weekend at the box office. The film's creators have been actively marketing it on numerous channels, and they are presently touring the nation. In the meantime, a brand-new Ponniyin Selvan promotional trailer has been made public, and in it, the Pandyas, the movie's major adversaries, are introduced.

Aadukalam As the leader of the group that seeks revenge for Aditha Karikalan's murder and overthrows the Chola empire, Kishore portrays Ravi Dasan. After defeating the Pandyas in battle, Aditha Karikalan kills Veera Pandiyan, the King of the Pandyas. As a result, the Pandyas intend to exact revenge on Aditha Karikalan by murdering her and destroying the whole Royal family. Riyaz Khan and Arjun Chidambaram would be seen portraying Soman Sambavan and Varagunan, respectively, while Kishore portrays Ravi Dasan. Playing Devaralan is Vinay. The major enemies of the movie are the Pandyas, who will face off against Aditha Karikalan, Vanthiya Thevan, and Arun Mozhi Varman, with the support of Nandini, who is portrayed by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

This brief teaser trailer for the film features some intriguing new graphics and a voiceover by Kamal Haasan. Interestingly, it also makes one want to see the movie. The first of two sections of Ponniyin Selvan will be released on September 30. Release of the second instalment is anticipated around May or June 2023. 

Along with hundreds of other dancers and children, Karthi and Sobhita Dhulipala will be seen dancing in the "Ratchasa Maamaney" visuals. We get to observe the creative process behind the song's creation because it was shot on a large scale. A.R. Rahman's "Ratchasa Maamaney" is a fantastic song that is instantly attractive and will gain even more appeal when accompanied by its accompanying graphics. The dance routines for the song were choreographed by Brinda Master. Karthi describes the process of filming this song in the making-of video, describing how difficult it was to perform in only one take.

The first portion of the two-part movie Ponniyin Selvan will be released on September 30. In May or June of 2023, PS's second instalment will be released. The crew is anticipated to begin their nationwide promotional tour this week, visiting many towns to spread the word about the movie.
