Usually some people says that Overthinking is the habit that no one should get addicted towards, this is because there a lot of effects of Overthinking on one's life. Yes, I agree because Overthinking will make you sad in most of the situations. Even if you get a happiness or a moment to be happy a moment full of joys etc and you became happy but it will not last as it should, may be because if you are an Overthinker than there are a lot of things that will be going on your mind and most of it will be the things, situations or people that have hurt you and you eventually become sad. These things on your mind will overcome and eventually vanish all your happiness.

Yes dude, yes you the one who is reading this right now. I want you to leave the habit of Overthinking . You can and you have to overcome your habit of Overthinking. It's very important for your self, for your mental health and somewhere physical health too. Because this habit of Overthinking is just ruining your happiness and the joyful moment that comes once in life. And because of this you are ruining your mental peace. It will sadden you in most cases. Overthinking has worse effects on one's life like stress, sadness, depression, anxiety etc. I think Overthinking is like a worm which eats your happiness and mental peace.
