people living in rural areas are traditional and if somone try to change their traditional way of thinking to progressive way of thinking then he has to face lot of resistance from the society. Due to this kind of thinking people of rural areas are unemployed and most of them are dependent on farming. They don't have good hospitals and infrastructure. where as people living in urban areas have easily access to hospital, education, good infrastructure and what not.
If you will compare with urban , Rural people are less educated because they dont have education facilities such as schools, colleges etc. Due to this most of the rural people are below poverty line.
Rural people are not confident enough to progress in life where as urban people have that fire inside to excel in every stage of their life. Urban people take more risk and due to this urban people have high standard of living.
Due to lack of education, rural peole face difficulties in understanding and grasping new technologies like laptop, computer, mobile phone etc. Rural people are not aware of new technologies around the world.
Urban society has many disadvantages like they are highly populated. Due to high standard of living. life in cities is not simple but very complex and complicated. Due to high facilities people have to work very hard. every one is competing with each other. urban people are so busy with their life that they dont have time to interact with each other. major problem in rural areas are power, solid waste management, water and sewage problem, improper road and agriculture problem. All these problem can be solved by proper designing and planning solar power plant or wind energy. problems like road, sewage problem can be solved by mechanical engineers in conjunction with civil engineer.
