India Is Splitting Into Two!

India is collapsing!
There is a risk that the landmass of the Indian subcontinent will split in two. It is a widely held expectation that this will occur at some point in the future. the regions of Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Sikkim, and Ladakh. It is said that these specific states are vanishing. All of these states are supposed to be submerged. Why is it stated that so many states in northern India are buried? What's the word from geologists on this? Check it out in this blog.

The earth was not what it is today when the dinosaurs roamed this planet. There existed a supercontinent named Pangea at that period. Once upon a time, every huge continent on Earth was one. The Pangea continent was magnificent because it allowed one to walk from India to Africa and from Africa to Europe. One may question how walking might get you to these continents. Australia is now located distant from the Asian continent. The ocean divides America from Asia as well. However, things were not like that hundreds of millions of years ago. All of the continents were united at that period, but 60 million years ago, the Eurasian and Asian plates formed when the continents split apart.

The subcontinent of India was formerly an island. India was created when it collided with the Eurasian plate, another landmass floating in the ocean. At that time, a sea existed as well. between the Eurasian plate and the Indian subcontinent. India and the Eurasian plate collided to generate the Himalayas. It is thought that the Himalayas are still expanding today. The ever-rising Himalayas will eventually reach an extremely high altitude. And when they do, it's thought that the Himalayas will finally give way. The Himalayas are continually experiencing seismic activity, including earthquakes and landslides. If you're wondering, is this seismic activity just caused by the Himalayas growing? Seismic activity is said to happen when two landmasses meet. There are 36 to 40 earthquakes annually, and the Tibetan plate is said to be situated on the other side of the Himalayas. It is a myth that the Indian subcontinent and the Eurasian plate collide to cause earthquakes. No, since there isn't a problem in Bhutan or Pakistan even if this collision also happens here. However, the Himalayan region between India and China is the only place where earthquakes and similar occurrences happen. Why is this just frequently occurring here?

because Tethys, a different plate, was home to the sea that I previously stated. The Indian and Eurasian plates collided 10 billion years ago, resulting in the formation of the Himalayas 6 billion years ago. The Tethys plate became caught and entered at that point. The Tethys plate, which has trapped and moved inside these plates, is the cause of the regular seismic activity, even if Pakistan and Bhutan don't experience it. The Indian and Eurasian plates are situated in the colliding region.

The Tethys plate's activity and the Indian plate's continued collision with the Eurasian plate are to blame. The states that are currently Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh will eventually sink beneath the earth. The likelihood is strong. The statement "India is splitting up" comes from this.

But we won't be here to see that because it'll take crores of years to occur. But It'll be a  major geological change.
