Dear friends the one place where we have spent most of our time of our childhood, other than home is the school. Each one of us still have beautiful memories of our school. Many of us still vividly remember parents taking us to the school, the fights and the fun with the class-mates and also the rebukes and appraisals from our teachers. These memories live with us for a life time and we share them with others when we grow up. Many a times even great leaders use their experience as anecdotes in their speeches. Here I shall try to bring out the different view points of the school of the parents of the student, the teachers and finally the student.

Go to your school, oh! my little child dear,
There will be many friends and nothing to fear.
There will be many friends for you to play,
After you return home, you'll have so much to say

Keep yourself ever ready for exam and test
Whatever may be the circumstances, you must be the best
With friends and in play, the time need not be spoiled,
You are like a moving engine, which always need to be oiled

Read, Read, Read and read and make yourself ready,
Tiredness is only a feeling, keep yourself steady.
All these years you have wasted, now it is time to show
If you are one among toppers, only then you will grow.
(First day at school)
Welcome to this beautiful school oh my dear children,
This is less of a school, and more of a playful garden.
Here you will find the true heart-felt love,
All along you will feel as free as a dove.
(After a few years)
Always in the class I find only mischief and naughty,
Only a few are god, but most are normally haughty.
Mostly incomplete are the tasks given to you for home.
Studies have taken a back seat, priority is of you to roam.
(Before school leaving exam)
All these years you have played and wasted
During exams mostly you have copied and pasted.
Now it is time to put all your efforts and put up a real show
Secure a result that will make others in front of you bow.

Home is better and not the school
I know all the elders are making me a fool.
At home only a few come to me,
here I find so many buzzing like bee.
(After few years)
School is the place that is best ever
I wouldn't like to miss it even with 102 fever
Some teachers are tough but others are good
Some use the cane, but others are better than food.
(Before school leaving exam)
Know not I how much did from here I learn
Did I use my time, or did I make them burn
With tears of memories rolling by,
The heart cries out as the time is to say good bye.
