Do Not Trust Everything You See

With an increase in the users of social media the competition to be the best has also increased. In these times one can rise to fame in no time and will be forgotten in the same way. To maintain the niche one has to be consistent on what to serve on the internet. Lately we are seeing a number of bloggers, you tubers, influencers putting their best to be recognized, working hard to be appreciated by the world and some really bore their fruit of hard labor. But let me tell you not every body is meant to do that. Not everyone can be an influencer or a writer of a you tuber. We all are blessed with some or the other talent but the thirst of name and fame eventually makes us do anything and everything.

I am saying all this because Instagram has a feature called reels. I myself use the feature but just for the sake of using it. I don't want to be an influencer. I don't have the potential to be one. But at times while I scroll through them there are some reels which make me sick. Many of you will not agree to what I am saying here but it is what I feel. I have seen reels on some very absurd topics. We are in the country where we want sex education to be a part of the curriculum because we know how important it is. But you open Instagram and see how much vulgarity is used to get some likes. People even caption them as dark comedy. So does that mean everybody is aware of how everything works because in the end you are just cracking jokes about it. I do not have any problem with such reels I just feel taken aback by the concepts.

Also there are some influencers who will promote self love, they will tell you to accept yourself, to be positive always and to love yourself the most with layers of makeup on their faces. And have you ever heard of toxic positivity? As a human you should feel every emotion, you can bottle up your emotions. I can go on and on on this topic but I don't want you all to get bored. All I wanted to say here was trust your conscience, you will reach wherever you want to eventually till then feel every emotion. Don't trust every influencer or a blogger or a you tuber or anyone who says things just for the sake of saying. Your biggest teacher is your experience. Learn your lessons and move on.  Be whatever you want to be without stooping down to any level. Make your dignity and your self respect your most prized possessions.

the words are heavy and certain truth, and it's badly affecting our young generation. They are losing innocence.

Totally agree with this. And to sum it up to your last point, * Don't buy in what others tell you. * Take their input, and apply it in your life and see if it works. * And lastly, keep sharing your experience with others as honestly as you can. (Which is what you have told: Make your dignity and self respect the most priced possessions) Thanks for this nice writeup. Keep writing. If you can, do check out my blogs too.
