What is junk food? junk food which is Junk for our body and it is not good for our body on daily basis. Junk food is high in calories and with very little amount of protein, vitamins and minerals and other important nutrients.
What is Fast food? first of all let's keep aside fast food which is available in Restaurants and which is sold in canned or packaged form. If you ask me, what is fast food then according to me fast food which is packed with nutrients and other necessary vitamins and minerals which can be cooked directly or made with very less preparation. We have to change the definition of fast food so that we can educate upcoming generation about pros and cons of fast food and junk food.
According to me, today's generation is more prone towards junk food. Junk food is bad for health and we have to keep this firmly in our mind. You all will ask me what is fast food then? let me answer your question very thoroughly. Fast food can be made up of various components. You don't need many things to eat fast food. for example cucumber can be fast food, dry fruits fast food and carrots, tomatoes, all types of fruits. whatever we can eat in very quickly and which is packed with nutrients should considered as fast food. and all those canned foods, chips and oily foods should be considered as junk food because we are making ourselves and our upcoming generation weak and prone to illness.
During this covid times we understood one thing which is very important to ourselves and everyone around us. That thing is Healthy Diet and Immunity. Usually we can see the difference between people living in urban areas are more prone towards diseases compared to people living in rural areas, this is because people in rural areas eat healthy and they live in less polluted areas. I am not saying people living in urban areas should move to rural areas but we should start purchasing organic food products so that those products demands will increase and they will be available at low costs. Junk food is bad for health and fast food's definition need to be changed so that we can live healthy life and live longer. This topic is not going to over in one blog rather it should be discussed very detailed and i am going to write about this thing inb my upcoming blogs.
