01. The chemicals present inside our stomach are so strong that they can even melt blades & iron. It is because the pH of stomach is highly acidic due to presence of Hydrochloric Acid.

02. You might have heard about many diseases caused by bacteria on a regular basis & must have thought that these organisms causes no good to us. But did you know? Only 1% of the bacteria are harmful to us, rest 99% are useful.

03. We know a lot of pathogenic organisms like Bacteria, Protozoans, Fungi & Virus. Bacteria are present almost everywhere as compared to others. But you would be amazed to know that normally the viruses are 100 times smaller than the bacteria.

04. You must have seen government ads promoting blood donations, asking young, healthy people to donate blood to make blood available for traumatic patients. But most of us fears that donating blood can cause weakness, which is scientifically incorrect. 

05. Have you ever thought of age gaps between different sex groups in same species? Have you ever thought the same about mosquitoes? I think “No”. So let me tell you that the life/age of average female mosquito is between 3 to 100 days whereas male mosquito lives only for 10 to 20 days.

06. The smallest, basic, structural and functional unit of all living organisms is a cell. They are so small that we can not see or distinguish between cells in detailed with our naked eyes. But you would be surprised to know that each cell of our body contains approx. 2.2 meter long DNA in highly coiled fashion.
