This is where Aurus comes in with its self-driving capacities. Its will probably help lifeguards by watching non-swim zones and cautioning sightseers during elevated tide.

Aurus is supplemented by Triton, a simulated intelligence based checking framework that, very much like Aurus, will notice non-swim zones to caution sightseers of the risks as well as tell lifeguards in the event of a disaster.

Currently, Aurus is deployed at Miramar beach in North Goa, while Triton can be found at Baina, Velsao, Benaulim, Galgibag in South Goa and Morjim in North Goa, according to an agency official.

This year, about 100 Triton units and 10 Aurus robots are expected to deployed across beaches in Goa.
