A refreshing story of a group of high school college students, their dreams, past love, track, guitar, soccer, video cassettes and extra.

Over the years, we've got witnessed numerous campus flicks in specific languages across the united states of america. But only a few have obviously created an impact and kindled a experience of nostalgia. Darbuka Siva's Mudhal Nee Mudivum Nee is one such movie. It's a simple yet refreshing story of a bunch of excessive school students, who go through the standard rigours of youngster existence.

In the very first scene, Siva takes us to the first day of excessive-school, where buddies Vinoth (Kishen Das), Chinese (Harish), Durai (Sharan Kumar) and Su (Gautham Raj ) wait out of doors their classrooms to check the list of recent admissions. All they need to know is the names of the women and who would be their best match, even without seeing them! Within a couple of minutes, we are delivered to Rekha (Meetha Raghunath), whom Vinoth falls head over heels in love with. Their love in high school is harmless yet mature. In reality, some of the incidents that occur among the 2 had been carried out to dying in Tamil cinema, however are nevertheless relatable.

A scene in which Rekha buys a guitar for Vinoth, who is an aspiring musician, is poetic and real. From paying attention to Rahman songs collectively at the walkman to dancing on degree for the duration of farewell, most of the scenes rekindle reminiscences of 1's past love. Trouble begins while Victoria (Harini Ramesh) enters their lives.

The misunderstanding and headaches that stand up between the 2 lovers because of Victoria's presence breaks them apart and in a roundabout way impacts their lives after many years. While the first 1/2 of the movie makes you experience appropriate, with some hearty chortle-out-loud moments, the second one half of leaves you with a heavy heart. What's clever approximately the writing is that, Darbuka Siva, doesn't prevent with the affection story, however explores the lovely components and headaches concerned inside the lives of every person we stumble upon inside the film from the first actual scene.

While the script and its characters are etched nicely and haven't any complaints, the only question is, why does every filmmaker who deals with campus flicks, in the end quit the second 1/2 with a reunion? Why do each incident or answer need to manifest handiest all through the reunion and now not otherwise? Few sequences post c program language period do makes us sense that the second half of could have been special and could have delved greater on the individual characters' private lives with an interconnect in place of a reunion. But then, because the movie progresses, the writing choices up again, making us understand the director's intention.

The movie also talks approximately what you honestly want and how lifestyles would had been if some matters are compromised at unique levels of life.
