As soon as the movie came out, I became hooked. I was about to declare the movie to be the ideal movie after seeing it twice. however, I was able to see the moon's black side after the ninth watch. As a result I'm writing this review to discuss what I learnt, and in the end, to express my thoughts about the movie.
The Kolar Gold Fields (also known as KGF), a ready-made gold mine, is the most valuable piece of land on earth and the center of the narrative. However KGF's partners wish to keep the land for themselves. Rocky the story's main character, Is thus dispatched to K.G.F. with the mission of assassinating the local monarch. Yash depicts Rocky as having a difficult upbringing. However, before his mother passed away, he made a solemn vow to become the wealthiest person on Earth before his own death. Rocky has one of the best character developments in a movie that I have ever witnessed. He is very inspirational and highly independent. His inherent self-sufficiency allows him to accomplish tasks independently, further enhancing his inspirational nature.
Adheera, portrayed by Sanjay Dutt, is depicted as the antagonist in the story, being the brother of the former K.G.F ruler and seeking to take back control of the area with his traits of cruelty, strength, villainy, and involvement in war.
The film is not focused on a criminal who rose to great power and wealth, but rather on a son's commitment to his mother. If Rocky had not made that promise, he would not have reached his current position. His sole reason for doing it. The movie also addresses the theme of the population. Laborers were unwillingly transported to K.G.F and were compelled to work strenuously in the mines. Rocky's straightforward strategy to conquer K.G.F involved gaining the people's trust, and ultimately defeating the guards of K.G.F when the time came.
My opinion on this movie is a mix of positive and negative. I found that while there are some uplifting advantages, there are also some discouraging issues in the movie.
The melodies and music of the film immediately captured my heart. The filmmakers had developed unique music for each type of scene in the movie. During a forward-thinking moment, the music deviated from the usual action scene or romantic tune.
I noticed a conflicting element in the storyline. This movie is the follow-up to K.G.F: Chapter 1. In the movie's conclusion, Srinidhi Shetty, the protagonist, stumbles and looks after Rocky. However, in Chapter 2, the story carries on with her displaying animosity towards him, almost as though she despises him. This results in a plot contradiction and flaw that, in my opinion, the movie directors completely missed.
I perceived the movie as unrealistic. While the plot may seem realistic, the characters are extremely unrealistic. Rocky's character might not be labeled as over-the-top but as unbelievably perfect. He is depicted as the ideal person and ideal ruler, but this portrayal fails to motivate genuine audiences.
The core plot of the K.G.F series closely resembles that of the Pushpa series. However, in that film, Pushparaj is not depicted as the ideal ruler or the perfect human being, but rather as a regular person who, in comparison, is very 'human'. However, Rocky never experiences any injuries in the K.G.F series, as he is always portrayed unharmed. These are some of the things I dislike the most.
