Whoever rules Arrakis are in charge of the spices that only originate on this planet but there`s a catch. The new aristocratic regime must not only endure scorching heat and no water but also face brutal invasion from the evil House Harkonnen. Having exploited Arrakis` resources and people for 80 years, Harkonnen won`t give up their golden goose so easy. The Atreides must also survive the hostilities of the native dessert dwellers called the Fremen, who loathe outsiders and their imperialism. For those unfamilar with the books, Atreides is one of the great houses of the feudal interstellar empire known as the Imperium, overseen by the `emperor`. Born to Duke Let Atreides I (Oscar Isaac) and his Bene Gesserit concubenage Lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson) on the planet Karadan, Paul advances the story. He inherits the power of "voice" Bene Gesserit, who can control others simply by adjusting the tone of his voice. Is he the one who can give mankind a better future?

At first glance, there seem to be many sand planets. The basic knowledge of Frank Herbert's novels will help. Islamic Arabic terminology and various characters can confuse new viewers. But that is not a requirement in itself. DenisVilleneuve is a master of his technique, never compromising on size, meaning, or emotion while realizing his vision. In his storytelling, he uses narration to slowly and steadily warm the futuristic universe of Herbert. Known for creating cathartic epics, Birneuve will amaze you in every frame with unwavering attention. The details and scale are impressive. The legendary score by Hans Zimmer captivates your senses. Filmed for IMAX, Dune is an immersive visual masterpiece in every respect. Keep in mind that Dune has more than just visual proficiency. Plots dominate ecology, political ambush, religion, beliefs and superstitions, survival, and most importantly, human dominance over human evolution. But the underlying social commentary never overwhelms you. You can understand all the points without losing sight of the magnificent magic and adventure that unfolds in front of you. You are taken to a world of sand, sun, desert storms and shadows, where your eyes shine like diamonds. The religious aspect of the plot is uncompromising. Hindu, Islamic, Christian and Arabic influences are ubiquitous. Technology is an important aspect of the fictional setting of the Dune series, and the grandeur and accuracy of the ornithopter, shield, etc. is fascinating.

Timothée Chalamet, who plays a vital role, excels as Paul Atreides. You can see for yourself why the young actor was nominated for an Oscar so early in his career. Each of his looks speaks over a thousand words. His acting potential, screen presence, and range are incredible. Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista and Stellan Skarsgard also performed steadily. Zendaya is effective in a short role. Big screen entertainment is back with great success. The dunes are the reason why we fall in love with movies. This science fiction festival, which has a deep connection with humans, is worth seeing at NETFLIX.
