Covid 19 (coronavirus) is an ongoing global pandemic worldwide. The first cases of coronavirus was seen in the state Wuhan of China. India had seen fewer cases of it in the month of January 2020. It was later declared a pandemic in March 2020. Around 176 millions of cases till June 2021 and around of 3 million deaths are confirmed, and it is the deadliest pandemics in the history. It is seen more in elderly persons and those who already have some disease they cannot fight the coronavirus.
The preventive measures to stop it is to maintain social distancing, wear face masks, wash hands regularly and not to get outside home without any work. Now vaccines are also available worldwide for the years 18 and above. It is recommended to take vaccine because then only we can fight through this disease. Seeing through it many effects have been noticed in the whole world and it is very destructive. Billions of people are on a risk of losing their livelihoods, the small workers have lost their jobs due to the lockdown happened in 2020.
Due to no work available, the poor people and those who have less salary are facing food crisis. Billions of people have lost their lives who are not able to get proper treatment because of financial crisis. Most of the people also didn't get bed in hospitals. The agricultural workers are waged and self employed but due to this pandemic they were not able to sell the things they produce and may of them died as of malnutrition and less finance. Street food vendors have also faced a lot of financial crisis due to the lockdown and they were not able to sell anything.
Food security, employment, public health, labour issues and health and safety of the social workers has been put in very danger. The crisis are seen in every sector of the world and this will take a while to stop. The health care workers, doctors, police and many other people are fighting this to keep the normal people safe from this virus. Doctors have been working all day long just to save lives of the people.
Poverty and unemployment has gradually increased and it will take time to settle down. Also the deaths of roadside people are seen more as they don't have any shelter and also they don't know how to take any precautions. The steps to protect the livelihood, food nutrition and environmental issues has been taken slowly for the future purpose and the citizens are also helping people who are in needs. We have to stop this effects of covid 19 as this the biggest destruction all countries have ever faced.
To stop the more effects of covid you just have to wear masks regularly whenever you step out of the house. Proper social distancing should be maintained anywhere you go, use sanitizers and do not touch anywhere. Do take vaccine as it helps your body to fight against virus. Be patient and support people who are engaged in protecting our country. This has not stopped till yet but we can by only taking the necessary steps ourselves. Protect your family and do give guidelines who don't know or are not implying it.
Through small works we can control this pandemic and most of the lives can be saved. Stay safe and stay at home if possible because if we own will save our life then this would be very easy and coronavirus will not be seen anymore.
