Due to lockdown, you can't enjoy your facial treatment at the salon, and you don't want to let your skin down now!
Even If you don't go to a regular salon, these simple steps for a homecare face treatment might convince you to try it yourself more often!
Step 1: Cleanse
It is the chief point to cleanse your skin and make sure that any makeup, oils, and bacteria get removed. It is a chief point to choose the correct cleanser according to your skin type. Apply your cleanser lotion on the skin in small circular movements to make sure you remove makeup and excess oil. Double cleansing gets advised after you have worn an overcoat.
Step 2: Exfoliation
Now use your facial scrub or chemical exfoliator to touch the dead skin of the underlayer.
Even if the chemical exfoliator or acid is not the same potency as the one used at the salon, it is still an important step that you should not leave. Peeling off your skin makes sure that your masks, serum, and face cream will penetrate your skin better and work more effectively.
Step 3: Steam Your Face
Hot steam works effectively to open the pores on your skin and ensure that increased blood circulation occurs in your skin, which will ensure that the necessary ingredients in your masks and serum penetrate your skin well.
There are a few options you can use. Steam your face over the top of the skin, or use a hot washcloth on your skin. You can even put your steam in the shower for pores to get open.
Steam over basin: Carefully pour between 4 and 6 cups of boiling water into a clean, big vessel depending on the size, and put a large towel on your head as you buckle over it, keeping your eyes closed. Lift or lower your head for more or less heat and steam for 5 to 10 minutes.
Use A Warm Cloth: Fill your vessel with warm water( not boiling water) and leave a warm towel in it to soak. Dry out the towel until it is moist and carefully place the hot towel on your clean face skin. The ideal option for you is to lie down and relax while you keep the cloth on your skin for about 5 minutes.
While it feels lovely to steam your skin, but you shouldn't do it every day because it can cause your skin to dehydrate and even cause inflammation.
Step 4: Apply A Mask
You can you either one mask or quite a few with the multi-mask technique. With the multi-mask, you tackle different problem areas on your face.
Apply an even layer of your mask (or masks) over your face. Now is the perfect time to sit peacefully and scroll any magazine! After 10 or 15 minutes, rinse off your mask and gently press your face skin with a clean, dry towel.
Step 5: Apply Your Serum
Remember your serum gets used as a target-specific treatment for your skin's individual needs. For example, a serum containing hyaluronic acid targets specifically dehydration, and a serum containing ingredients such as retinol are a specific one that fights skin aging.
Facial crumbs contain a higher concentration of ingredients that can hydrate and rejuvenate your skin on a deeper level.
Step 6: Apply Yor Face Cream
Using a face cream is suggested, as it ensures the very top layer of your skin function effectively. This layer serves as a good function. A good face cream will keep your skin healthy and nourish.
Use this step in the process of massaging your skin. There are several benefits to facial massages. It ensures that the products get absorbed to their full potential and stimulates blood circulation in your face skin - and most important - relaxation!
Massage your skin into small circular motions and gently use your fingers in an upward direction to avoid pulling your skin off.
Step 7: Sunscreen
If you don't go straight to bed and do your homecare treatment in the morning, don't forget about the most suggested step - sunscreen! Your number one weapon against skin aging and hyperpigmentation.
