Expecting for the people who you never could expect from is one of things i have learned the hard way. Be it in a positive way or negative way, at times people who we didn’t even think of doing something have accomplished it. Take for example one of the greatest restaurant chains, KFC. Their founder Colonel Sanders, failed miserably throughout his life. He was fired from various jobs. By the age of 65, he retired with hardly 100 dollars left and was suicidal. After that he realised that his chicken dish was something he believed in. By the age of 85 he was a billionaire and his past was a chapter he never had to see. From being a complete fail to a worldwide and unbelievable success story.
Another such example is of the great singer Shakira. She was once removed from the choir in her class as her teacher said she sounded like a goat. The rest is history. At times we fail to realise the true potential of others because we are busy finding how they are different and not merging into the average. Uniqueness is a virtue which is the most in demand.
Next let’s see Mr Narendra Modi the current prime minister of India. At one point of time in life he used to sell tea, today he is at the position of the highest authority of the largest democracy in the world. Irrespective of whether accepted as a prime minister or not, he has transformed from a minor tea seller to a great position of authority.
Next is the story of JK Rowling, the author of Harry Potter series. Her stories were rejected by 12 publication. She suffered severe poverty such that at times she would go without food in order to feed her children. Today she’s loads of money To help feed others too.
One last example I’d like to add that is of the great Indian Comedian, Kapil Sharma. His father passed away due to cancer when Kapil was at a very young age. His mother didn’t have much money left. He had to take part in small time shows and stand up comedies to earn mere money In peanuts Inorder to fund himself and his mother. Today he has got every luxury possible because of his hardwork. Although he is on a break now, to spend time with family he continues to be India‘s most famous comedian And my very favourite too.
