So, cleansers are the first step to our daily skincare routine and one must choose it effectively.
Hey everyone hope you are doing well amidst the pandemic. I am Prami, I make BEAUTY and LIFESTYLE related content including a couple of content which I really like. If are are in to that genera then please consider following me and do like this blog and share it with your family and friends.
In my previous blog I told you how a beginner can create an effective skin care routine with only three products. The three products were cleanser, moisturiser and SPF.
Now let's talk in indebt about cleansers. There are different categories of cleansers curated for different skin types according to their specific needs.
At the first position comes the Micellar water cleanser. It has a completely watery texture one should take a cotton pad and pore some of it and just swipe off the cotton pad in their entire face to get rid of the SPF, minimal makeup and mascara. And after that one should move on with their basic gentle daily cleanser which suits their skin type, which has a pH of 5.5. or rather pH balanced.
For reference one can try the Garnier Micellar water ,that pink cap bottle to be more precise, it is affordable and fragrance free at the same time.
The second cleanser is the oil cleanser , it's consistency is somewhat oil like ,but don't worry it dose not leaves any oil residue in the face. You need to just take one pump in your hand and just lather it in your entire face to get rid of heavy makeup and SPF. One can use it daily in the evening skin care routine for effective results , and follow up with your daily gentle cleanser which do not strips off the essential oils from your face but is affective at the same time. This method is also known to be as the Double cleansing method.
You can try the innisfree oil cleanser it comes in a 150ml pump packaging , a bit pricey but you can always grab it during the sale from nykaa, or amazon. You can also try the plum oil cleanser it comes in a tub and it's consistency is somewhat balm like a bit thick you get a spatula for scooping out the product and yesh it's quite affordable . Both the products are not fragrance free but I don't mind fragrance in my wash off products as I am not keeping the product for long. I prefer my leave on products to be fragrance free.
Now comes the basic daily cleanser I generally prefer to have three kinds of facewash ,but you can have only one but I like switching the product according to my skin's need.
In the morning I prefer using a creamy cleanser which is not having many surfactants and harsh agents , just to get rid of my over night creams and serums. I like using my Neutrogena extra gentle cleanser, it comes in a 200ml tub you can order it from Amazon or nykaa or you can get it from your local pharmacist shop. it contains oat meal which moisturise the skin and allaintoin which soothe the skin without disrupting the skin's natural pH.
I also like the Cleanse Me face wash . Ingredients list is decent, no cringe. Both the products are fragrance free and affordable at the same time. This facewash are curated for all skin types but dry skin people are just going to love it. Both have a pH of 5.5.
In the evening I like a bit foaming facewash I don't know why but it's kid of satisfying to me , I am having a combination skin so my T- zone is oily and my face is kind of dry to normal. So a gel facewash helps to get rid of the excess oil from my T-zone.
Now a days I like using the BIODERMA sensitive skin cleanser the one which comes in a complete Red tube packaging. It is pH balanced and quite affordable it comes in a 100ml squeeze tube. I wish they come up with bigger pump bottle. And yeah it's fragrance free too.
We have another gel cleanser from the BIODERMA range itself it's named as BIODERMA ATODERM gel moussent . It is also a good one a bit pricey than the former one and comes in a 200ml squeeze tube which is going to last you long.
The last cleanser which I like to use once or twice a week during night time is the chemical exfoliating cleanser, you can call it as my night time pampering session. I like using the 2% salicylic acid cleanser from be MINIMALIST. It's affordable , fragrance free and ingredients list is good. I also like using the Earth rythm 2% AHA BHA cleanser. It is also good affordable fragrance free option.
That's all for now I hope you find this blog to be helpful. It was a long one though.
Bye
XOXO
