Big Bang Theory - Formation Neutrinos

Hello guys
Here is a very common history of how atoms and molecules are formed by Big Bang theory but we are here to see what are neutrinos.

These elusive subatomic particles have been around since the Big Bang and carry valuable information

A neutrino is a subatomic particle that is very similar to an electron. but has a very small mass and no

electrical charge Neutrinos are the second-most widely distributed particles in the universe second only to photons, the particles that make up light The neutrinos released at the time of the Big Bang are still with us and vast quantities are being produced each day in our atmosphere, in the Sun and other stars, and by supernovae

Neutrinos zoom around at almost the speed of light As they have hardly any mass and no charge they seldom ever interact with atoms in their paths and pass through dense bodies such as stars planets and moons with ease On Earth, a hundred trillion of them pass through each of us every second!

Imagine what a wealth of information they could gather as they travel through our bodies and through the heavenly bodies in space If we could somehow extract this information from them, our knowledge would be vastly increased in the fields of astronomy. astrophysics and body imaging.

Directing them into the bowels of Earth could help detect not only oil and mineral deposits but also geological defects that could potentially cause earthquakes. This could help our scientists devise methods to predict earthquakes long before they occur something that is not possible right now

Underground laboratories

India has been among the pioneers in neutrino research Neutrino research laboratories have to be built deep under the ground because the superabundance of neutrinos on the surface would choke any apparatus built to detect or manipulate them. Way back in the 1960s, our scientists used a gold mine at Kolar in Karnataka to set up a laboratory at a depth of 2.000 metres, to study neutrinos. It was the world's deepest laboratory for neutrino research at the time The Laboratory had to be shut down when the gold mines closed down in 1992

The India-based Neutrino Observatory is being built in caverns under a rocky mountain in the Bodi Hills in Tamil Nadu's Theni district about 100 km from Madurai.
Hope You all would have got some knowledge about what are neutinos annd how they are formed...
