1. MALABAR EXERCISE HELD IN BAY OF BENGAL
*Naval of India, Japan, US and Australia participated in the exercise. *24th edition of malabar exercise
*Phase 1 held on Visakhapatnam in Bay of Bengal *Phase 2 held on Arbian Sea
*The exercise began in 1992 between India and US in the Indian Ocean. *Later in 2015, Japan became a permanent member
*In 2019, the exercise held in Japan and Phillipian Sea
2. PUBLIC AFFAIRS INDEX : KERALA,GOA AND CHANDIH BEST GOVERNED STATES
*Index was released by Public Affairs center, a non-profit org.
*Kerala was the best governed state.
*Report was released by the committee headed by a former Indian Space Research was at the bottom ranking.
*In the small state catagory - Goa(1st),Manipur(2nd)
*iN THE UTs- Chandigarh (1st)
3. INDIAN RAILWAYS LAUNCHED 'MERI SAHELI'INITIATIVE
*For the safety of women passengers
*was launched as a pilot project in SE Railway in Sept 2020
*Was extended to all zones Railway protection force
*Is established with protecting the passengers properties
*It is the only central Armed police force that has powers similar to that of regular state police force.
4. INDIAN NAVY TEST FIRES ANTI-SHIP MISSILE IN BAY OF BENGAL
*On Oct 30,2020,Indian navy test fired from INS Kora IN Bay of Bengal Anti-Ship Missile
*It is a guided missile that is usually used against ships and large boats. They were developed by Nazi Germany.
*Anti-ship missiles of India are as follows
Brahmos Hypersonic Cruise Missile(The missile is under development). Is being developed jointly with Russia after India became a member of Missile Tech Control Regime in 2016.

5. PM MODI INAUGURATES 'AROGYA VAN' IN KEVADIA, GUJARAT
*Also inaugurated the Sardar Patel Zoological Park, popularly known as"Jungle Safari" IN Kevadia.

*All yeild produced under the scheme will be sold under 'Jeevani Kerala Farm Fresh Fruits and Vegetables
8. FENI BRIDGE
*1.8 km long joing Sabrum in Indian and Ramgarh of WB
*Built over Feni river
*It will link Tripura with Bangladesh
*Feni flows in SE Bangladesh and Indian State of Tripura.
*Feni river originates from South TripuraGLOBAL HIMA Dist.
*Muhuri rivers also called as Little Feni
9. GLOBAL HIMALAYAN EXPEDITION WON THE UN GLOBAL CLIMATE ACTION AWARD
*GHE is a corporation that manages impacts expedition to the Himalayan villages in native areas.
*To setup solar energy in remote villages
*Strengthens technology and tourism in order to support remote group gain solar energy. UN Global Climate Action Awards are guided by the power for the change drive at UN Climate Change.
10. SHIPPING MINISTRY INAUGURATES "DIRECT PORT ENTRY FACILITY" AT V.O CHIDAMBARAM PORT
*In Tuticorn by Union Minister of state for shipping and minister of state for chemicals and fertilizers Mansukh Mandaviya.
*Would allow direct movement of containers from miles to the container terminal round the clock, without in between handling at CFSs. Multi modal Terminals Are a segment of government's Jal Marg Vikas Project(JMVP)
