8 Tips To Lose Weight Without Going Overboard
Exercise works as a great stress buster, so it’s not only good for the body but for the mind too. Working out on a regular basis is an amazing way to keep your mind as well as body healthy.
Some people tend to procrastinate while some are overwhelmed by the thought of getting up and moving. Although a small percentage comparatively feels intimidated by the aftermath of exercising; that is sweating, getting hurt, or maintaining a discipline for that, most of them do want to get out of their comfort zone. However, it is easier said than done!
Having said that, it does require some amount of courage to begin working out, setting a routine, and following that religiously to get results. And if your goal is to lose weight, then the diet has a major role to play. actually, diet and exercise go hand in hand.
We all know that we have to start at some point and delaying would further trick you into believing that you have been doing the right thing so far. So before losing the motivation early and weight later, squeeze in some activity and indulge in it daily to speed up the process. To those who are afraid to work out at the thought of anything as small as time deficit, I would say just conquer your fear!!
A regular workout increases your brain potential along positively affecting your health. Few tips to take some time out of your busy schedule to get up and work for a healthy mind and a strong body. Here’s what you need to know:
- Take one step at a time: Take small steps. Starting with a 10–15 min workout and then gradually making it to a longer one. One advantage of taking baby steps would be that it will not leave you exhausted and would easily fit into your everyday practice.
- Lay short-term goals: if you are aiming at a feasible goal, you’re less likely to laze around and delay workouts. Instead, you are motivated to achieve your goal in the shortest time possible. Make sure to not burden yourself so keep it twice or thrice a week, to begin with, slowly increasing it to five times or even seven times!
- Love workouts like you would love partying: Yes, you heard it right! you must love what you are doing in order o get to the point you have dreamt of. Do not consider it a task rather make it enjoyable. Let’s not make exercise something to just get over with as we usually do. It’s a common thing that happens with most of us as the human brain itself is conditioned the same way. It keeps away from things that do not seem to have a reward for, or unless it’s rewarded for the effort it takes. To stop feeling like finishing your activity somehow, start with simple exercises like walking, stretching, skipping rope, or even just moving your body. Simple exercises are also something you relish and feel good about and also they could lose you a good amount of calories. Intense exercise could intimidate you at first but it will become easier with time.
- Keep a time that is suitable: Doing so will keep you motivated and chances are you will not miss your exercise if there’s a specific time for it.
- Performing non-exercising thermogenesis: It is when you spend your energy doing everything right since you are awake until you sleep in a day, except eating or sports activity. But that also should not be any exercise per se. That is also one effective way to lose some pounds and keep your muscles in action. for instance; using stairs, squatting to pick or lift something up, walking while doing house chores, and so on.
- Brisk walk: A great way to stay fit is a 30 minutes walk on a daily basis to burn calories, rejuvenate yourself inside out and of course get some fresh air. I am sure everybody knows how important it is for a human mind to take some fresh air for the sake of our mental health.
- If you do not like exercises that make you sweat profusely, try yoga: a form of exercise that helps you in just the same way as any other conventional one.
- The concluding point would be to challenge yourself and workout not just to shed some extra weight but to stay fit and lead a healthy lifestyle too
