It was a rainy night,

“Hello Anand!! Jayesh, met with an accident a few minutes back and got hospitalized in Sahyadri Pune, please come ASAP!!” said Sandeep over call around 9 pm.

Call got disconnected, making Anand shocked — ”Oh my god!” and he immediately rushed to hospital. There he came to know that Jay was badly injured in his right leg & hand. His parents were worried about their son and treatment was going on.

Anand came downwards and in general ward dashed a girl, she fell down, but he ignored and ran away to bring medicines. As he returned to the hospital, he saw Tina was following him. He gave medicines to Sandeep and asked her, “who are you, why are you coming behind me? She was speechless. He bought her down in the general ward where her mother was wondering for Tina, and asking people around.

Anand took her, handed over her daughter and told the happenings, her mother started scolding her by which that girl’s eyes filled with tears. Silently, Anand went to meet Jay on the 1st floor. He has shifted to a special room. Anand met him and discussed the accident.

“Doctor told me to stay here for a week,” he added😞.

Anand replied, “Ok, till then, I will be with you here” and Jay felt relaxed😌.

While leaving the hospital, with curiosity, he visited that girl’s room, after entering he smiled but she didn’t identify him. Her mother smiled and told him that

“Tina, a 17 years old daughter, has had a brain tumor a few months before, now she is in 2nd stage and treatment is going on.”

Anand felt sad and saw that she was feeling lonely. He went off.

Thinking the whole night.

Next day morning, he came back to hospital from his home with breakfast and gave it to his friend Jay and later gave it to Tina. First, her mother denied, but accepted. After eating kanda pohe, Anand made a friendship with her and started spending time with her. Again the next morning, he gave her breakfast, and with permission, Anand took Tina to a nearby garden.

For the next 4 days, he used to take her for a walk on grass without slippers, give leaves and flowers to smell, show birds, tell her to feed biscuits to street dogs, play a ball, make her feel the pleasance of mud, share moral stories and jokes, sit under a tree for lunch, show entertaining films daily evening and return to room. Following the same routine on the 6th day, due to caring and emotional support from Anand, Tina gained strong physical and mental health.

Jay also got almost covered and discharged. Later, Jay’s family and Anand took him to his house and made him take rest. But here, Tina was alone and missing Anand. But Anand, after a week, on Sunday morning, surprised her with Idli and chatni.😋 She got very excited, got a hug and started crying. Her parents thanked Anand, who unknowingly came and filled with lots of joy and happiness in their daughter’s life. Anand was 🙏 (please not to say thanks).

Meanwhile, the Doctor visited for a checkup and told them, “Tina will get well soon.”

This made a happy moment for all. Anand, before leaving, Tina (was taking a rest on bed) called him and gave a “Cadbury Dairy Milk” and    said — “Dear comrade.. Thank you!!” 😊
