A Plaster Saint World

We not only live in a harsh world, but also in a hypocritical one.

You're probably wondering why I'm saying this. This is something you can find every day and everywhere.

A lot is going on in the world, such as a pandemic in which people are losing their lives, jobs, and so on. Despite all of this chaos and danger, people continue to waste their time worrying about the least important thing, which is another person's religion.

Some people blame the government, while the government blames the people. That isn't enough, but some extremely religious people, or should I say extremely foolish people, are blaming other religions for the deadly coronavirus.

So, are you serious, people? Are you not concerned that you might be the next person buried in a cemetery? Are you seriously so blind to see the adverse effect of this perilously fatal disease?

So, nobody gives a fuck... We are too preoccupied with the blame game, possibly to divert our attention away from the virus situation.

But wait a minute! Isn't this thing quite old? I mean, we've been fighting or blaming each other for years, if not decades. Decades have passed. We are being cruel, inhumane, unjustified, greedy, and absolute idiot in times of need.

Is that how you intend to heal this country? Yes, I'm referring to our own India. The entire world is aware of what we are going through and what we are doing instead of helping one another.

Government is as bad as it has always been; no politician cares about your well-being because they only care about their votes.

The Kumbh-Mela was the rashest decision made by the government and the people. The gathering of women at the Gujarat Temple in the midst of covid was not a good thing. The gathering of hundreds of people at Charminar in Hyderabad for Friday Prayer was not the right thing either. Our beloved government's most rash move was holding election rallies.

They were all wrong, and our Indian media should show them all equally on news channels or write the same thing about each one of them, explaining why they were wrong to gather.

But the most hypocritical thing in India, however, is our Indian media.

What is the problem with our country? The worst thing about our country is that we are judgmental. We judge people based on their race, community, religion, and caste. We should judge people based on their character, nature, and how they interact with others.

As humans, we lack love for one another. We looooove religions more than we actually love humans.

And, believe me, it does not make you a human being.

Every day, people die, and all we do is argue and fight about trivial matters.

Grow up! This country requires love now more than ever. This country requires help and support. And you, and only you, are capable of accomplishing this. So, let us put aside our animosity and instead support and love one another.

Remember when we used to say this Pledge in school? “India is my country and all Indians are my brothers and sisters. I love my country.”

Now is the time to show your love to your brothers and sisters.

Always choose love over hatred.
