Recently, Aamir khan and kiran Rao got divorced, And this Is very shocking news for the fans. They both have a son- “Azad". In that situation everyone wants to know who will have the custody of the child after the divorce?

The joint statement which is posted by both of them and social media for their fans, they clearly mentioned about the custody of the son. In a statement they said “they will also take care of the child together” Which means they opt the joint custody of the son.

So, today we gonna talk about child custody. Basically, child custody has two different types: -

1.  Sole custody

2.  Joint custody

sole custody- which means Only one parent gets the custody of their child whether it is the mother or father. But,

Joint custody in this custody both the parents have full right to get the right decision for their child together. In this type of custody, child has a right to spend some time with both of his parents. Although, it is sad that this custody can be a little difficult for the child. In joint custody it is very important that both the parents cooperate each other to take the decision of their child’s life and this thing depends on the divorce proceedings. If there are already conflicts between parents and the divorce proceedings itself then, sole custody is the right option for a child.

According to this state laws, no matter what kind of custody is given, it is important that it is right for the child. In early times, the mother was considered the right person in raising a child in a better way. But, now the court see the facts which parent can be raised a child more properly.

The parent who does not have physical custody of the child, the code gives them for periodical visitation right and this visit take place and the house of that parent who has physical and legal custody of the child.

However, if the parent who does not have custody had previously in the past tried to harassed or abuse the child, the court instead of completely denying to visit, the court imposed the supervised visitation charges on him/her.

Most of the parents agree that the mother should get the custody the child but , the fact is that in this changing times, men winning more custody cases than a woman.

Thank you 🙏🇮🇳
