Alexander The Great's Final Three Wishes

In a very short time, Macedonian ruler Alexander the Great conquered areas of Asia, Egypt, the Middle East, and the eastern Mediterranean. His dominion altered the history of the area and brought about profound cultural changes in the regions he conquered.

King Philip II gave birth to Alexander in Pella, Macedonia, in 356 BCE. Alexander was twenty years old when his father was slain by a political adversary in 336 BCE, making him the new king of Macedonia. Alexander passed away in 323 BCE at the age of 32. Alexander established one of the greatest empires in history during his 13-year rule as king of Macedonia, which spanned from Greece to northwest India.

In 326 BC, the forces of Alexander the Great and King Porus (also known as Poru, Paurava) engaged in a decisive battle at Hydaspes.

Numerous breakthroughs in the study of geography and natural history were made possible by his voyage and his own interest in scientific research. It is not incorrect to argue that the many decades of Byzantium, the rise of Christianity as a global religion, and the Roman Empire were all somehow the result of Alexander's accomplishments.

After returning to his nation after subduing several countries, Alexander the Great became unwell and ended up on his deathbed. "I will leave this world soon. Please fulfill my three wishes without fail," he said, gathering his generals around him. The king made the following final requests of his general to follow:

1) "My physicians alone must only carry my coffin," declared the Greek king of Macedon.

2) The monarch declared, "I hope the path leading to the graveyard be filled with the wealth that I collected when my coffin is being carried to the grave." 3) Alexander stated, "My third and final wish is to have both of my hands hanging out of my coffin."

The generals asked their king why they were following his final desires and decided to do so. "I want the world to know the three lessons I have just learned," declared Alexander. "I want my physicians to carry my coffin because people should realize that no doctor on this earth can really cure anybody," the king said, interpreting his wishes. They have no defense against death.

The monarch stated, "I spent my entire life earning riches, but I cannot take anything with me," while describing his second request. Inform folks that material prosperity is but dust. Thirdly, I want everyone to know that I entered this planet with nothing and that I shall leave it with nothing.
