Reflexology is an alternative therapy. Reflexology is a method of rejuvenating the body by gently pressing and massaging the entire foot. So by massaging the feet, the damage to the body parts can be removed. By stimulating pressure points blockages in blood vessels are removed and blood flow is increased, improving eye health and vision. The soft tissues in the feet are strengthened. Problems such as back pain, neck pain, neck stiffness, shoulder pain, tension, headache and toothache will be reduced. Digestion will be regular. Problems related to acidity, ulcers, chest irritation and gas will decrease. Relieves depression, nausea and other mental disorders.
Procedure for Reflexology
First wash the feet or soak the feet in lukewarm water for 10 to 20 minutes. Washing the feet with water will help to loosen the feet.
Next use a small amount of your favorite lotion or massage oil and rub it all over the top of the feet and the soles of the feet. Hold the top of the foot with your fingers, between the toes, and slowly move the feet in a circle. 3 times clockwise and 3 times counterclockwise, relax the ankle. Third, press the thumb gently and firmly around the top of the foot in the center of the ball of the foot. Press the first 3 times in the same place. Then move down to that spot and repeat the process. Then massage the big toe to activate the head and brain reflex points. Press the middle of the big toe with your thumb to activate the reflex point for the pituitary gland. Then move down to the base of the big toe to activate the reflex points for the neck, throat and thyroid gland and the area under the other 4 toes is for the foamy liver. Use the same thumb pressure technique to massage these areas and the middle of the foot. Massage the heel with both hands on the thumb. Reflex points on the heel relieve spinal tension and help reduce back pain. Finally, apply a lotion or oil and give lifht massage. This foot massage can be done whenever you want to relax the feet. It is best to do it in the evening and before going to sleep at night.
