We all encounter diverse scenarios and circumstances on a daily basis, but we don't have to let them affect our thoughts or emotions. We become the slaves of our moods if we allow external events to control them. We are no longer free. We let external factors to determine our level of enjoyment. However, we can free ourselves from external pressures. Being happy is a choice, and there are many things we can do to make our lives happier.

Happiness is a state of contentment and inner serenity. When we do something we love to do or when we get, win, gain, or accomplish something we value, it usually happens without any anxieties, fears, or obsessive thoughts.

Meditation

A great life is characterised by the love of one's family and friends, as well as by the presence of joy and laughter. These are items that are unavailable for purchase. They are the byproducts of a fulfilling and prosperous life. Possibly a life rich in experience rather than money. You will be sacrificing the things that will bring you true and lasting happiness if you spend all of your time working to acquire enough money to purchase the material things you desire.

Doing the things you like to accomplish and having the flexibility to follow your own path in life are two elements that might make people happy, though these factors can vary from person to person.
preserving harmonious relationships and gaining acceptance in society
being pleased with your circumstances and refraining from negatively comparing oneself to others
keeping a cheerful outlook and resisting the urge to get upset or annoyed by life's constant changes
achieving the objectives you have set for yourself and remaining optimistic while doing so
maintaining good physical and mental health to lower the risk of illness and disease.

The four primary hormones that increase happiness are:

Dopamine: Commonly referred to as the "happy hormone," dopamine induces emotions of contentment. When we enjoy something, it surges in the brain's reward system, which is its main engine. praised at work? A rush of dopamine will occur. Finding love? Your levels of dopamine will soar. "Dopamine produces that high we get from food, sex, shopping, pretty much any activity that we find enjoyable," adds Dr. Fatima.
The "feel-good hormone," serotonin, is essential in fending off depression and anxiety.

Serotonin levels in the brain are actually raised by the major class of medications used to treat these problems, known as SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors). Serotonin levels can be raised by engaging in physical activity, being outside, and obtaining enough sleep.
