Around 50,000 professional photographers are currently in the United States.

Of these professional photographers, only a few are recalled and are known enough to form part of the history books.

But what have photographers in history books already made it? There are so many well-known photographers, but you certainly need to know a few here.

1. Crewdson Gregory

One of the best photographers is Gregory Crewdson, because he puts so much money into making his photographs. Think of some films with a budget of a million dollars. To build a single photograph, Gregory Crewdson would use this budget.

He would set up a whole, big set just to take one or two photographs. They get increasingly extravagant with each photo.

Gregory Crewdson has one thing that makes him unique, and he uses everything he can to get the photo style he needs. Among his images are broken hydrants, ruined structures and ancient towns.

He uses a larger-size camera to get the look and type of photograph he wants.

You must check these photographs in person if you have a chance. You can see it online, but it just doesn't have the same depth and texture in person.

You can look at these bizarre photographs for hours and absorb every detail on the photograph.

Robert Frank 2.

But his work remains notable. Robert Frank is not as modern as Gregory Crewdson. Born in 1924, he became a publicity photographer at the time he was seventeen years old. In Zurich and Geneva he worked.

He became a fashion photographer six years later. He used a camera that wasn't used at that time, the Leica of 35mm, while he was doing so.

Afterwards, he diversified his portfolio further and became more involved in street photography and photography. He found his niche and made a name for himself when he started doing that.

He began travelling the U.S. and began taking pictures of some of the best photos of his portfolio.

His black and white pictures show the average Americans' daily lives. He had a talent to capture the real emotions of people, which is why so many people recognise his pictures.

Finally, in the book called The Americans, he compiled a lot of his famous photographs. He travelled all over the US in the 1950s to be satisfied with his book. In so doing, he was able to get pictures of American everyday people who do everyday things.

He could compile and publish his book once he had done all that. At the time, he had a well-known writer, Jack Kerouac, who wrote his introduction, but many people hated him once he was published.

The critics decided, as the years went on, that his work might not be so bad. Throughout the years, his photographs were considered to be classical art.
