I SAW THE DEVIL

When a pregnant woman becomes the latest victim of a dangerous psychopath, his husband becomes obsessed to take revenge even to the point where he had to become a monster himself.

I have watched many revenge films, many of them lose focus on what's important but nothing can stand against I SAW THE DEVIL. It doesn't beat around the bush, straight to the point. It is brutal, disturbing and even disgusting. For some people it might not be watchable due to its graphic violence. The film delivers the satisfaction to its viewers on a whole new level. Every scene in this film will leave you frightened in the most gut wrenching way. I SAW THE DEVIL is one of the best horror/action film ever made which perfectly fits into what is called an exceptional film. If you haven't seen this movie, you're missing the greatest masterpiece of all time.

OLD BOY

After being kidnapped and imprisoned for fifteen years, a man played by Oh Dae-su is released. But there's a twist- he must find his captor in five days or else an even worst fate awaits him.

After watching I SAW THE DEVIL and OLD BOY, my perception towards South Korean cinema has changed. Just AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!This film in particular never deviates from telling us the biggest tale of vengeance and sympathy. The biggest hunch for me was the plot twist which left me in shocked. Thrilling, action-packed, mysterious and suspenseful. The ending is jawdropping. DISCLAIMER!!!!!Do not watch this with family, you'll regret for days, weeks even months. This film might not be for everyone and some parts may be disgusting to the viewers but i highly recommend you to give a try.

SILENCED

Silenced is based on real-life events of young and deaf students sexually assaulted by faculty members for over five years in the early 2000s. The school is also accused of starving their students to death as early as 1964. In 2011, after the  SILENCED film was released in cinema ,the school was officially closed down.

I would have never come to know about this incident if I had not watched this film. It took me a lot of courage to finish this film. The child actors did exceptionally great with their performance. Their facial expressions, sign language and the way they depicted their complex expressions. This film perfectly portrayed on how the law stands with those who have power and money and how the weak and voiceless are SILENCED. MUST WATCH !!!
