Hello guys .Happy day everyone !! today is the 2nd day of navratri , like i said this blog will be a part of navratri series . Okay , according to me  , what I fancy from navratri is golu’s and snacks or prasadams that we used to eat during navratri eves . guys , these sweets will be so unique , even some people have a list of sweets or prasadams to be specifically made on navratri only on each day . but the great part is , all the snacks will be healthy and light . Some celebrate navratri by fasting according to their community . Some only take fruits , some fast by drinking water or some eat once a day ..like that .

So in this blog , I will give you guys an easy recipe for instant malpua . it is an sweet made using milk and maida . so , let’s get in it .

INSTANT MILK MALPUA :

INGREDIENTS :

  1. milk powder
  2. rava -
  3. milk -
  4. maida -
  5. oil
  6. sugar-
  7. water -
  8. cardamom powder - 1 teaspoon
  9. fennel seeds
  10. nuts [ cahews , badams , pistas]

To make the batter :

  • add a cup of maida into a bowl .
  • Then add half a cup of milk powder . You can measure the cups which you used to take maida for measuring other ingredients .
  • Then add 2 spoons of rava and a teaspoon of fennel seeds .
  • Add a cup of milk and mix all the ingredients .
  • Beat the batter well , to avoid lumps .
  • Once you get the perfect batter in the consistency of a dosa batter , you can allow the batter to rest for  20 minutes .

To make the sweet jeera :

  1. Add a cup of sugar to a pan and add a cup of water to it .
  2. Stir the mixture nicely and mix until the sugar turns into the syrup .
  3. After 5 minutes , once you get the sugar syrup add some cardamom powder to it . it enhances the flavour of the malpua .

procedure :

  • Heat up a pan with oil .
  • After resting the batter for about 20 minutes ,  beat it up once again and pour the batter into the hot oil .
  • Fry the malpua both the sides , till you get a golden brown color .
  • Then soak the fried malpuas in the sugsr syrup we made .
  • Sprinkle some crushed badams and cashews on the malpuas and serve it .

These malpuas will be so tasty and easy to make . Try out and enjoy ! happy navratri !! 🌟meet you guys soon in my next blog .
