Hello guys ! How are you all ? i hope you all had a safe and prosperous diwali this year and for today’s blog , i will share about my diwali , how i spent it and how it went . So let's start .
This Diwali was not like it used to be when I was a child . Actually , it is the favourite festival of the year for which I gradually lost the hype and interest . I don't know why . When I was a little girl , I would plan for diwali at least before the month itself . I will get my new dress , fancy crackers , jewels , draw mehandi designs on the hand , help to make sweets with my mom and so many other things . But for the past 1- 2 years , I have almost forgotten that it is diwali . Even this year after november only i realised that on 4th nov it’s diwali . I even went shopping on 2nd nov only . but my mom started making sweets a week before , though i didn’t get any feeling !
Then on the day of diwali , i woke up late at 9 , then took a shower and had my breakfast at 10 only . My father asked me to burst crackers , but I didn't go . I felt that something was missing . there was no vibe at all . It was raining too , which made the day more dull . The roads got soggy and wet . Then after 3 we went to my grand ma’s home . I asked my mother to return by 5 or 5: 30 , but we actually left my grandma’s house at 7 pm . Unfortunately , we didn’t get any autos or buses as it was diwali . I got really irritated . Then after waiting for 30 to 40 mins we got an auto . Then after 8 we reached home . While coming home , I saw people enjoying crackers but here I am sitting in an auto returning to my home . it really got me upset . all my plans failed because of this . all my friends finished cracking and they were about to go home . i cried and then i slept . the day ended . this is how my diwali . quite bory , isn’t it ? i know . it's just became an usual day with sweets and crackers .
