Bilateral Relations Canada and the UK are among the highest ranked countries in terms of human rights. Mr McKinnon’s prospects are brightening up and there are hopes he can be moved to the US. When this move has been achieved, he will be brought into a country where human rights are in absolute tatters. The government in Washington, as well as all the rest of the USA, has been marked down by scores of human rights organisations and media organisations.
