Mumma- Being a mom of two, this is the only term that comes to my mind when I think of describing myself. Especially now with my younger one. Not because he calls me that way, but because I am trying to teach him the same. With two cute little kiddos at home (8+ and 1+), time just flies. Elder one is too innocent and younger one is too dominating, only with his elder brother though. I see his innocent side when he is with his cousin who is just 3 months elder to him. They are great friends. Every time they meet each other, it’s like they are meeting for the first time. So happy and excited. But once he tries to stand using her support, she just runs away. He considers her as his squashy toy. But then, if he is too engrossed in another activity and doesn’t pay attention to her, she can’t handle it and starts poking him to remind that she is around. It‘s so much fun watching all their activities. They do something new every day. Just wishing that the weather changes soon. Capturing all the moments will be so much more fun then. Don’t want to miss out on any of them. I want to have as many memories as I had for my elder one.

First borns are always special to us for sure. But fact remains that the second ones take all the attention by default once they come into picture. Then comes the reaction from the first one. Some are jealous, some don’t bother and some are too affectionate for their younger sibling. And I am the lucky one. At least till now. He loves his younger brother so much. He was actually desperately waiting for a sibling. And when he came, I can’t describe his love for him. Hope they stay united always.

Unlike the present trend of having a single child, I always wanted two kids. And after having the second one, it was somehow so satisfying. I was like ’wow’, my family is now complete. But unfortunately without my dad. Wish he was here. Life would have been so much different with him. His teachings on life and dealing situations with patience are still with me. The past year has tested all my patience. Having to deal with delivery and a new born all alone, with no outside help was one of a kind experience for me and my husband. But as they say, all is well that ends well. Finally spending quality time and enjoying with my family 😎.
