So let's start our remain story which is about Dr. Verghese Kurian- The milk man of India 

In previous blog we see where dr. Verghese Kurian work before starting the Amul and how his interest started in dairy. And then he invited his batchmet American friend for work together and invent the skim powder and condensed milk by buffalo milk. When HM dalaik and Dr. Kurien doing his work on that research then many dairy expert says ‘’ it is impossible work''. But Dr. Kurien and HM dalaik made this possible.

Interesting fact is Amul name was given by a chemist who working in dairy lab at that time.

After that Amul give a tough competition to Nestle who made milk powder by cow milk.

At that time prime minister lal bahadur shastri was impressed by the success of Dr. Kurien and Amul that he started National dairy development board. And made the head of NDDB was Dr. Verghese Kurian. During his post in NDDB he started operation flood and promote Amul in every corner in India. And India became 1st country in Milk production.

Dr. Verghese Kurian get many awards for his work. In all that Dr Kurien get Ramen mexses award which is the highest award in Asia.

India also give Dr. Kurien many awards like Padam Shri, Padam Bhushan, Padam Vibhushan and kisan Ratan.

World dream expo also select him person of the year in 1993.

Interesting fact is that Milk man of India- Dr. Verghese Kurian was never drink milk. Because he didn't like the taste of Milk.

But today, this taste of Amul became the identity of India.

If you see Amul from far away you see a successful dairy brand but reality is during the way of his success Amul also change the life of poor village farmers who was economically weak at that time. And also give the answer of every section who created a question mark on Amul success.

Dr. Verghese Kurian who give the world class dairy products to India died in the age of 90 on 9 September 2012. But his secrifice for country is always remember like his Amul brand.

In today time milk production of india in 2021 expected is 208 MT. In last year it was 198 MT. And always India is the number one country in milk production. And it only possible by Milk man of India- Dr. Verghese Kurian.
