About:
The first movie was devised by Dan Aykroyd as a vehicle for himself and friend and fellow Saturday Night Live alum John Belushi. The idea for the film was inspired by Aykroyd's personal obsession with the paranormal (and a history of parapsychology in his own family).
Actors :
The roles that the characters in this film played were quite remarkable. Playing the ghost kid Melody in the film Frozen Empire, Lind is thrilled to finally be able to discuss the nuances of the spirit's relationship with Phoebe Spengler.
story:
The legendary New York City firehouse, where the original Ghostbusters elevated ghost-busting to a new level, welcomes the Spengler family back. Together, the new and old Ghostbusters must battle an evil power unleashed by the discovery of an ancient artefact in order to defend their home and prevent a second ice age.
Reviews From the common Public:
I won't give too many spoilers, but I will say that Frozen Empire is still playing in theatres. The two main young actors, McKenna Grace as Phoebe Spengler and Finn Wolfhard as Trevor Spengler, weren't very likeable or cute in this movie. Additionally, two youths from Afterlife—Logan Kim as Podcast and Celeste O'Connor as Lucky—were brought into the movie for no apparent reason. Aykroyd, Murray, Potts, and Hudson all reprised their parts, and Patton Oswalt, a recent addition, seemed to be playing a scaled-down version of Ray Stanz for no apparent reason. This time, the main antagonist was a demon named Garraka, who was obsessed with freezing things and freeing all the ghosts that had been kept captive in the firehouse during the first two films. Additionally, Kumail Nanjiani was cast as Nadeem the Firemaster, a new nice character. Really? They have another master after the Keymaster and everything else? On the angels' side, this time. To be honest, I was rather let down by this movie and thought it was a dull plod. Really, I found it difficult to appreciate any of the primary characters. I could go on and on about all its shortcomings without giving anything away, but why waste pixels? You can make your own judgement after waiting for it to stream (on free services; there's no need to pay for this one). I haven't seen any comments in a while. As always, this is just my opinion; it may not represent the opinions of Amazing Stories, its owner, editor, publisher, or other columnists. Until we meet again!
