Hey everyone, how are you all? Hope you all are doing fine. Today I was just going through my Instagram and I came across a story of a little 12 year old Maleesha. And I thought I should it with you as it is such a beautiful story to know. 

So Maleesha is a 12 year old girl who was living in a makeshift tent in Mumbai slums. Now Maleesha Kharwa is on her way to becoming a fashion model. To becoming a dancer. In October 2020 she was featured as the cover girl in the Peacock Magazine, an Indian Fashion Journal. 

Since a 5 year old child she dreamt of becoming a model as she saw one model ramp walk. But the main question you all might have right know is how this opportunity came to her? How did her journey begin?

So in 2020 Hollywood actor Robert Hoffman was scouting for slum children he wanted to feature in a music vedio. Although she did not make a cut for this shoot, Kharwa impressed Hoffman with her charm and confidence. He talked to her about her dreams and was impressed by her and was also curious what would be her steps towards her dream and she had no idea regarding that. So he thought he would step forward and help her in a possible way. 

He first approached her father, had a word with him. Her father and he entire family had a discussion and we're very serious about it. Hoffman was also very comfortable to go forward as the family assured their confidence in him. After her father's approval Hoffman became her manager and launched her Instagram and YouTube accounts. Soon she had enough followers to become a social media influencer. Besides the magazine cover, she also got featured in a short film. She has a dream that she soon wants to fulfill her dream and want to sit in a plane. 

This little one has a message for all of us “Try try till you succeed”. And I think no matter what difficulty we face it's our will to make gold out of it. It's into our trying that will take us to the next level. 

One thing that mesmarizes me the most is her will also the fact that it never bothered her from where she came, or what her family is. She just had one dream and she happily and courageously worked towards it. I hope every Maleesha finds her Hoffman and become what they dream of.
