Generation Gap is a term that has been coined in the late 21st century by some experts who find that the new generation that is coming up are not able to cope with the generation that has given them the well flourished land to live on or the food that is on their plates. In the 21st century and up until now our generation has been classified into five major categories, that is five generations are living as of now.

The first one's are the traditionalist who were born in the 1995 era. The second one's are the baby boomers, who came in 1946 till 1964 era. Then came the generation X who started from 1965 till 1979. Then came the Generation Y or the millennials who came in from 1980 to 1995. And last we have the centennials also known as the Generation Z, which is the current generation from 1996 till present, we our the Generation Z. 

All these generations share different characteristics such as the Traditionalist who believe in the core of our traditions, living by the traditional rules that were made by their ancestors, not wasting food, not wasting money on unnecessary stuff rather use them wisely. Where as if we talk about the present generation, it does not believe in the utilization of resources, they are much into gadgets, technologies nd forward robotics and artificial intelligence. The generation that came in the middle of these two has seen many things from traditional to technological changes. Some of these changes include both the World Wars, The great Depression, Poverty, Partition, the cultural changes were also seen such as the Hip Hop culture, Rap songs, clothing changes from covered to barely anything.  Off course the emergence of technology is he biggest change we call can talk about. We all have heard those stories of crossing the river and walking for miles to go to schools, and now we can hire a Uber or Ola right to our door steps. This makes the older generation to be very lenient towards Generation Z to provide them with much of their need of gadgets, as it is a way to get educated now. 

We live in a generation were the necessity of a more reliable Wi-Fi is so important than a more reliable job for that matter a washroom to relive yourself. In the conclusion I would like to say that different generation has different needs, they were bought up in different environments with different resources. And  that is why they cannot be classified into one specific thing, that is why every generation has its own weakness and its strengths as well. All these weaknesses and strengths were understood by the earlier generations and were utilized which eventually helped the next.
