For the minority of people who are punctual find it really frustrating to move on in harmony with the rest of the world... So this blog is a dedication to all who are punctual but struggle on a daily basis to keep the anger in check because of the uncertainties that keep popping up on a daily basis..
Everything revolves around time but when time in itself becomes a burden we find ourselves being angry at the world... So this poem tries to cover the emotions hidden behind the smiling faces of punctual people...
My day runs non stop based on the clock
I do this to escape any possible block
That may come as I tend to be a little lazy
And I don't want to work overnight being crazy
But finish it perfectly ahead of deadline
After I check that everything is organized and fine
Am ready to be there before the scheduled time
I don't mind waiting sipping may be a lime
But a minute after the schedule is like a time bomb
Am getting ready to build a new tomb
Where I can bury you and just run away
Cause you are coming and blocking in my way
As my mind is wired to work as I taught it
And to compromise with time can't handle a bit
You can shedule even days at a stretch
But a second after that I turn to a witch
Understand that am a person adamant
And never cross the time limit that is meant
Take your time as you give me appointment
But when it goes beyond time don't expect a special treatment
And what I hate the most is last minute changes
And do you have any idea how my anger rages?
Give me what I deserve and that includes my time
Don't give me a look as if am committing a crime!
My day is split based on my priorities
Not on your interests or itineraries!
I may waste my day if I do really feel
But it is never or will ever be your deal!
My time you never dictate not on my watch
The smile I give is the only thing you can catch!
This is just an outburst when you have to sit for an extra minute in class.. Extra work at office.. So all the unnecessary extra time that is being grabbed from you is not accepted..
So let me know if you feel the same!
