Happy New Year 2023 guys! 2022 has been a rollercoaster even for us candlemonk bloggers! So let's enter the new year with better hope and attitude and I simply wanted to post on the very first day of the new year!

Wishing that as you climb you find new ropes!
Just to keep you moving on you put on a smile!
Although the buzz is just for a while!
You are happy to wish all who are in the contacts!
Setting high standards for self for comebacks!
Our dreams, plans and empty promises
Go beyond the horizon for the kisses
As if you can just conquer the world
In the moment you turn thought to word!
Yet deep within you can't forget reality
That literally is questioning your sanity!
So let our resolution be not to think
Ponder over thoughts that might stink
But simply enjoy the ride with its bumps
Maybe few bigger hits and sharp humps
Not letting other's words have an impact
Keep your soul and mind happy and intact
Cause the big huge world won't change today
But make sure you are here to just stay
Not worry about what others think or mean
Your struggles they have hardly ever seen
Better days await your presence to fulfill
You have a happy life ahead waiting still
Let's scream out to the world that we matter
We make up even some great silly banter
We are silly, overthinking, funny idiots
With stupid dreams that may push us to huts
But we are proud that we often try everyday
We still have belief left in us that we do pray!
Tears may adorn our face every other day
But you can never ever hear us utter or say
We will quit it once and for all as we try
Cause it speaks of our efforts even as we cry
Let's live this year believing in who we are!
Learning nobody changes even if they care!
So live your life, cry but have no regrets!
